Why consign?

Consignment eliminates the hassle factor of selling your quality, gently used home furnishings on your own. “Think Green” by reducing, reusing, and recycling to help our environment, while recouping some of the investment from the furnishings you no longer need.

It’s the easiest way to sell and best way to buy.

 

Why consign with us?

Tossed and Found is Wyo-braska’s premiere consignment store, offering quality home furnishing and accessories.  We believe a home can be an eclectic combination of all types of furnishings, vintage and modern, old and new, to show off unique personal styles and tastes. We hope to inspire our customers to try new decorating styles by displaying items in our showroom to create visual interest and promote quick sales.

What can I consign?

We accept antiques and home furnishings that are in good condition, as well as accessories that are clean, in good condition, and seasonally acceptable. Items that are missing parts, cracked, broken, torn, faded, stained, or in need of repairs will not be accepted.

We reserve the right to disqualify items from a smoking or pet environment, as well as, any item due to poor condition, current inventory, or past experience. 

 

How do I consign?

Submit photos and a brief description of your consignments directly to: toss.find@gmail.com. If you chose, you may bring  pictures of your potential consignments into the store for review.  Please do not bring your items into the store, unless you have spoken to us first. Please call to make an appointment with the Tossed & Found staff.

How do you establish pricing?

We determine the final retail price on all consigned merchandise after physical inspection. Our competitive pricing is based on past experience, manufacturer, style, age, history of the item, condition, and current demand.

We view each consignment as a partnership, and acknowledge it is in everyone’s interest to price items at fair market value

 

What percentage do I receive?

Our consignment period is 120 days, with the consignor receiving 50% of the final sales price. Your item will initially be priced; after 60 days it will reduce by 10%; after 90 days it will reduce a total of 15%.

 

How and when do I get paid?

Consignor payout checks are available for pick up on the 15th of every month for previous month sales.

 

How long is the contract?

Our contract is based on a 120 day agreement.

 

What happens at the end of my contract?

Your items will remain in Tossed & Found inventory for 7 days after the expiration of your 120 day contract. You may pick up your items within those 7 days.  You may choose to renew your contract for an additional 120 days, after discussion with staff on pricing trends, etc.

After the 127th day, your items become the property of Tossed & Found.

What are your hours?

Open 5 days a week, Tuesday through Friday from 10:00am – 5:30pm and Saturday from 10:00am – 4:00pm. We are closed on Sunday and Monday.
